The 猪猪app Board of Trustees elected Scott Phelps of Tuscaloosa as its new President pro tempore during its annual meeting in Tuscaloosa on September 1. Phelps has represented Alabama鈥檚 4th Congressional District on the Board of Trustees since 2015. Prior to his election as President pro tem, he served as Chair of both the Finance and Legal Affairs Committees.
Phelps began his career in Birmingham as an attorney at Bradley Arant Rose & White. He then returned to his hometown of Tuscaloosa in 1995, joining Greene Group Inc., where he currently serves as Vice President and Secretary. In 2005, he played an instrumental role in establishing Bryant Bank and has been an active member of its Board since its inception. Phelps holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Birmingham-Southern College and a J.D. degree from The University of Alabama School of Law.
